Welcome to Château de Lacroux, a family estate that has been in Cesteyroles since 1615. With the Vigneron Pass, explore its 38 hectares of organic vineyards, discover authentic wines made from local grape varieties, and leave with a bottle of wine as a souvenir.
Since 1615, eleven generations of the Derrieux family have cultivated vines on the hillsides of Cestayrols, between Gaillac, Albi, and Cordes.
Château de Lacroux, a 38-hectare estate practicing organic farming, continues the tradition of Gaillac wines by showcasing local grape varieties such as Braucol, Duras, Prunelard, Mauzac, and Loin de l’Œil.
The estate offers a wide range of red, dry and sweet white, rosé, and sparkling wines made using the ancestral method.
Visitors are welcomed year-round for tours and tastings by appointment. A picnic area and motorhome parking are available on site.
To finish your visit, take a walk along their discovery trail through the vineyards and local grape varieties.
