Once upon a time, deep in a secret valley of the Sidobre, between Castres and Lacaune, there stood an old stone mill, guardian of forgotten stories. Following the small Guyor road (D66) towards Ferrières, around a bend, it appears, majestic and silent: the Moulin de Record.

Here, time fades away. Only the rustling of the river, the gentle breeze in the trees, and the laughter carried by the clear water matter. Gabriele and Jean-Pierre welcome you to their cottages, a haven of comfort and simplicity, where every stone, every beam, seems to whisper tales of times gone by.

Let yourself be lulled by nature: fish for trout at sunrise, dive into the coolness of a wild swim, go in search of crayfish with your children, laugh without fear of mosquitoes or the heavy summer heat.

And when the time comes to step back into the past, Jean-Pierre will tell you about the tumultuous life of the mill, a witness to the Crusades and the Wars of Religion. A vibrant journey, between memory and nature, that will remain etched in your memory for a long time.

The rustic cottage LE REFUGE DU PECHEUR, facing south-southeast, is located on the first floor of the mill's main building with its own separate entrance on the west side. It consists of two rooms, which were once the bedrooms of the last miller's children.
It offers a 22 m² main room with a sitting area, a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, an open-plan equipped kitchen, and a dining area. Then, you climb two steps to the large 20 m² bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a 90x200 cm single bed, with access from the bedroom to the bathroom, which features a sink, a shower cubicle, and a toilet. This cottage is suitable for seniors (raised bed, direct access to the bathroom/toilet).

The private terrace with barbecue overlooks the river. Deckchairs are available, and a baby crib is available upon request.
