Maison du Meunier de Villeneuve

A real haven of peace where you can recharge your batteries in the Tarn valley. The water mill has existed since 1676 and the miller's house has retained all the charm of the past with its multi-century beams and floors, its 19th century fireplaces.

This old building is an emblematic monument of the village of Villeneuve-sur-Tarn. Tastefully renovated, it offers all modern comforts: oak double glazed windows, wood pellet central heating, gas cookers, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, large screen television, etc.
The house has a large living area on the first floor of 90 m2 opening onto a large terrace with a view of the running water of the stream. On this floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a cosy living room and a bathroom with toilet.
On the second floor there are four large bedrooms of 12 to 17 m2 and a bathroom with separate toilet, all served by a single corridor.
Our country house invites you to a contemplative holiday where watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace is highly recommended. For those who can't stand still, you can venture out on the surrounding paths, by bike or on foot, canoe down the Tarn and visit medieval castles and churches, 19th century industrial sites and stroll through the many local markets in the surrounding villages.
