Brassac-sur-Agout, not just a village!

A tourist trail takes you through 10 remarkable sites, offering a glimpse into the history of this charming medieval village (the old bridge, the two castles, the Marquise garden, etc).

A leaflet, available from the Tourist Information Office in Brassac and from the town hall, will take you along the narrow streets on both banks of the River Agout. At each stop, you'll be able to admire the present and glimpse the past of this medieval village, with the help of a number of panels throughout your visit.

This village will win you over first and foremost with its castles and its old 12th-century bridge, one of two in the département to be listed as a historic monument. But it's the spirit of Brassac that will make you want to linger.

Whether you're a sportsman or just a fan of the 3rd half, the village spirit is ingrained in our genes. Here, everything is a pretext for a moment of conviviality.
And before you leave, don't miss a visit to the basket gallery or the Jaël de Romano cultural centre.

Get off the beaten track!
Get on your bikes and explore the many downhill, enduro, cross-country and lake route circuits. There's something for every taste and level. This is where the X Cross takes place, the benchmark event on the international mountain bike calendar. The countryside around Brassac is also a great playground for fishing and canoeing.
The Brassac festivals are a must! At the beginning of August, come and immerse yourself in the conviviality and good humour for 5 days!
