Conservatoire des Métiers d’Autrefois (Conservatory of Traditional Trades)

A journey through time, a collection of 20,000 objects retracing daily life in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

20,000 objects are exhibited through numerous collections: reconstruction of a village of craftsmen, classroom of 1920, museum of the vine and wine, shops of yesteryear...
From April to mid-June, the Conservatory invites you to discover "Militaria: War of 39-45". Reenactments, stagings of French, Allied and German troops, resistance, parachuting, war equipment, archive documents... A children's visitor booklet is available.
From July 1st to September 28th: ​​"Carto: Representing the World". Cartography through time. From the first maps dating from the 3rd millennium BC to current IGN maps, the Conservatory presents the evolution of cartography in the World. At the same time, local and international artists present their works of art made from old maps.

Several courses are offered to suit all ages :
- 6/11 years old: a day of adventure with Rosalie, the little mouse.
- From 12 years old: murder party “Murder at the conservatory”.
- From 6 years old: Nutcracker, the music-loving squirrel: outdoors. A life-size goose game in the shade of the plane mulberry trees.
- Hunt for objects in the orchard-conservatory. A bucolic outdoor break. Depending on the season, you can pick cherries, plums, figs and other fruits from our orchard. All ages.
