‘Mail’ Garden

This beautiful English style garden, recently renovated, provides an ideal place for taking a stroll.

It takes its name from an ancient rug from the 'jeu de mail' (mallet game) the ancestor of croquet and golf. Almost all cities owned a 'mail' ground.


Despite some changes, it is still the same framework: around its pond, its fountain and its artificial island, we find a particularly rich collection of wood varieties and rare oaks, aples and chestnuts.
