Sorèze, a royal military school at the time of Louis XVI

In 2026, the Cité de Sorèze will be inviting visitors to plunge into the heart of the Royal Military School founded by King Louis XVI and the Count of Saint-Germain. This immersive exhibition will reveal the daily life of the cadets-gentilshommes through archive documents, emblematic objects and contemporary creations.

Aimed at pupils aged 8 to 16, the School will be presented "at a child's level" thanks to illustrations by Julie Eugène, a children's cartoonist, and Playmobil scenes designed by Vincent Rousseau (Playmo du Sud). It's a lively, accessible way to rediscover this exceptional historical universe.
