The dramatic play Un jour parmi les rois by Jean-Louis Augé was written in twelve days in June 2023, following the sinking of the Titan submersible off the coast of Newfoundland. Produced by the Eclats d’amateurs association in Castres.
The central idea is to portray, from a human perspective and through the eyes of those witnessing the tragedy, the absolute horror of these disasters, which have become commonplace, while migrants are now stigmatized and portrayed as criminals.
