One is an extravagant singer and actress, the other a lively storyteller. In “Veici Ven!”, they combine their talents and infectious energy to bring the Occitan language to life and tell the story of a livestock farmer and her unusual encounter with a horned animal.

Their story was created from meetings and interviews with livestock farmers in Aubrac. The connection with the land and animals, as well as the sometimes “harsh” realities of the profession, are portrayed with authenticity, tenderness, humour and poetry. Drawing on real-life accounts, the performance is moving and thought-provoking, while always respectfully exploring modern farming practices.
