Immerse yourself in 18th-century Albi, guided by Madame de Lapérouse, wife of the famous Albi navigator.
Madame de Lapérouse has been very bored in Albi since her husband was sent to explore the Pacific. She will be delighted to show you around her city. She will tell you about how she met her husband, the handsome navigator Jean-François de Galaup, known as Lapérouse, while telling you about life in Albi under Louis XVI and sharing gossip about the city's prominent families. You will stroll to the Berbie gardens, passing by her house and the Place du Vigan.

Albi in the age of cathedrals
