Fishing trail – The Berlou and Gijou causeways

1st category fishing in the Gijou and Berlou rivers at Vabre

This route covers 1,200 metres of the banks of the Gijou. We have chosen the two most easily accessible stretches, which are particularly well-suited to family fishing.
In 1st fish category on the Gijou, 400 metres upstream from
of the Vabre municipal swimming pool:
Access: from Vabre, head towards Lacaune-les-Bains.
After 400 metres, park upstream of the fish farm.
There are two options:
- 400 metres on the left bank downstream of the Ga
- and 800 metres on the right bank.
Species present :
trout, gudgeon, minnow and signal crayfish in high densities.
This is a great opportunity to sample the river.
