Sur les traces de l’Enfant Sauvage

In 1798, in the woods of Bassine, hunters discovered a twelve-year-old child: a wild child. François Truffaut later dedicated a film to him. For the duration of a 3.5 km walk, dare to become a wild child yourself.

This is a fun and educational trail, marked with panels and activities that will reveal the history, environment, and way of life of the Wild Child.
Please note: This path is not accessible for strollers or people with reduced mobility. Walking shoes are recommended. To fully enjoy the adventure, booklets and accessory pouches are available at the tourist office of Lacaune.
