In the south of the Tarn, near the border with Hérault and Aude, the village of Le Vintrou welcomes you to a preserved mid-mountain environment, surrounded by forests. The area is perfect for hiking, swimming in the Saint-Peyres or La Raviège lakes, mushroom picking, or exploring the local heritage through the hilltop villages of the Sidobre and the Thoré Valley. Castres, Mazamet and its suspension bridge, the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, and World War II historical sites are all easily accessible for day trips.
The gîte is arranged over two floors in a semi-detached house, with a small terrace partly screened from the road by a green hedge. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.
