GITES DE BELMAS – GINKGO ET BILOBA

On the Montagne Noire, at an altitude of 700 m, the Belmas gîtes are surrounded by 16 hectares of woods and meadows. Enjoy a natural, unspoilt environment, with centuries-old beech trees and streams in the woods. It's the ideal place to get together with

Our two adjoining gîtes, Ginkgo and Biloba, have been renovated in an abbey farmhouse dating from the 17th century. The gîtes offer all modern comforts in a warm, rustic setting, with stone walls and exposed beams, a large fireplace and a kitchen opening onto the living room. Each gîte has its own entrance and private terrace/garden. The farmhouse contains the two gîtes and the owners' accommodation. A very large secure swimming pool (10 m x 12 m) is available from mid-June to mid-September.

Belmas is within easy reach of the fortified town of Carcassonne and the episcopal city of Albi, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as Toulouse, Gruissan-plage and the Cathar castles of Saissac, Lastours and Hautpoul. And on foot from the gîtes, admire the beech tree at St Jammes de Bezaucelle, which won the public prize in the 2019 Remarkable Tree of France competition!
