Gushing down from the Lacaune Mountains, the Gijou still remains wild, digging its bed into a woody, medium mountain region, with both steep valleys and deep forests, home of the chestnut trees and the cepes in autumn. 550 m high, the gîte of la Rabaudié is a haven of peace, a little nest for two, ideal for you to get invigorated or practise soft activities such as hiking or angling. Along the seasons, you will appreciate the serenity and wild feature of the valley. The gîte has been set up in an outbuilding next to the owners' house, a former farm building typical of the Tarnais mountain. A minute away, the village of Viane with all shops and services. Down the valley, charming mountain villages of Gijounet and Lacaze, and green resort of Lacaune (casino, Hot Springs Spa, cross-country skiing depending on the snow).

Electric heating and reversible air-condition. Baby equipmnt on request. Possibility of bd sheets and towels rent., cleaning service at the end of your stay. Horse stalls on site.
