In the heart of the Sidobre, this welcoming gîte on the edge of the forest offers peace, nature and comfort for an authentic stay in one of the most remarkable landscapes of the Tarn.

ocated in the small hamlet of Le Secun, in Le Bez, Gîte des Mimosas enjoys a privileged setting in the Sidobre, a unique area where granite formations, impressive rock clusters and deep forests create a spectacular landscape. Nearby, walks to the Rocher Tremblant, Lac du Merle or the Rivière des Rochers allow you to explore this remarkable natural heritage. The typical villages of Brassac and Burlats add a cultural and gourmet touch to your stay. You may also venture further to Castres and its colourful houses along the Agout River, or to Lautrec, famous for its windmill and pink garlic.

Upon entering, you will discover a large fully equipped kitchen (with filter coffee maker). The wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere, perfect for cooler evenings or for roasting chestnuts over glowing embers. The adjoining living room, combining stone and wood, invites you to relax after a day of hiking. On the ground floor, you will also find a shower room and separate toilet.

The bedrooms are arranged in three distinct areas:
• under the eaves: 1 double bed + 2 single beds
• upstairs – independent staircase: 1 double bed
• next to the living room: 1 double bed

Outside, the gîte invites you to immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. The forest is easily accessible, offering picturesque paths through the trees. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the terrace, breathe in the fresh air and unwind on the garden loungers. In the evening, admire a magnificent starry sky and warm yourself by the fire.

For your convenience, a reserved parking space is located about 200 metres away; unloading can be done close to the gîte. Pets are welcome at an additional charge and must be kept on a leash within the hamlet. Mobile network coverage can be limited — the perfect opportunity to disconnect. Don’t forget to bring slippers and boots in winter or mid-season.
