Le logis de Reine

At the border of Tarn and Hérault, the Reine gîte is located in the rural hamlet of Félines, in Murat-sur-Vèbre.

Gastronomy, outdoor sports and relaxation: the surroundings of Murat-sur-Vèbre offer a wide range of activities thanks to rare landscape diversity. Between the Monts de Lacaune (with Pic du Montalet at 1259 m) and the Mediterranean-influenced valleys of Hérault.
Lake Laouzas (5 min) allows all activities (fishing, swimming, canoeing…). Lacaune-les-Bains (15 min) offers the Espace des Sources Chaudes built on the former thermal baths, using naturally heated waters. Children will love the pentagliss slide in the park. In winter, the Picotalin area opens Nordic ski and sledding runs.
To fully experience the territory, discover Lacaune’s charcuterie, cheeses and specialties (bougnettes, casse-museaux…). A delicious way to take a piece of the region home!

The gîte:
Semi-detached house recently refurbished into cosy, bright living spaces. Located on the upper floor. Outdoor stairs next to the parking take you directly into the dining room–kitchen. Well equipped: fridge-freezer, filter and Nespresso coffee makers, blender, food processor, pressure cooker, raclette grill, toaster, kettle…
The lounge area is centred around a fireplace insert. On this floor: first shower room with toilet.
Upstairs: three bedrooms and a second shower room.

- Bedroom 3: 140 x 190 + fold-out bench for a 100 cm single bed

The decoration combines warmth and modernity, with preserved wooden elements such as parquet. Some furniture has been lovingly restored for a contemporary touch.
Garden (not adjoining) located next to the parking area, equipped with table, chairs and barbecue. Next to it is the owners’ vegetable garden. You can also visit the family farm producing sheep’s milk for Roquefort cheese. The on-site shop offers tomme, fresh cheese and curd… Truly ultra-local products!
