Le Poulailler

Naïs, our daughter, was 5 years old when we visited this place for the first time. She exclaimed: "It's a castle! And that's stuck.

Come and share our passion for this place. The "Toscane française", this hilly part of the Tarn, is superb with its countryside, its forests, its bastides (fortified towns) and its history. Close to Gaillac, Rabastens, Cordes, Albi and Toulouse, to name but a few. The forests of Sivens and Grésigne, as well as the Aveyron valley, are also within easy walking distance. You can combine the discovery of magnificent landscapes with unspoilt villages.

Our approach has always been to favour natural local products and renewable energy. You can enjoy the natural swimming pool with water that is not treated with chemicals and the organic vegetable garden where you can pick vegetables or fruit, in the company of Brigitte, who will share her tips and recipes with you.

*The guest house

Housed in an old henhouse that has been renovated in the traditional way, this guest house will delight you with its simple comforts. There are two steps down to access the guest house.
There is a covered terrace and a garden for outdoor living.

Sleeps 2 people:
- living room with an open-plan kitchen, a sitting area with a 2-seater sofa bed for extra sleeping, and a dining area
- bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed and a window opening onto a flower bed. A step down leads to the bedroom.
- shower room with walk-in shower, washbasin and wc

Access to the property's very large garden.
You're sure to come across the other occupants of the guest houses in the shared outdoor areas: natural swimming pool, vegetable patch, garden. Chickens, cats and owners' dogs on site.
Parking is available close to the guest house, or in a covered car park at the entrance to the property.

You will be welcomed as friends by Brigitte and Jefe, who will invite you to share their meal on the evening of your arrival to answer your questions and give you information about the region. On the same site, guest houses Le château de Naïs for 15 people (reference G1409 on "Gîtes de France") and Le Pigeonnier for 2 people (reference G1043).

Electric heating. Baby equipment available on request.
All-inclusive: bed linen, towels and household linen provided, end-of-stay cleaning service offered.
