L’Olivier** Guesthouse

A peaceful and welcoming retreat to recharge as a couple, enjoying the gentle rhythm of the countryside with the Pyrenees on the distant horizon.

Located in Roquevidal, in the heart of the rolling landscapes of the Tarn and the Pays de Cocagne, L’Olivier is a single-storey gîte welcoming you to an authentic countryside setting, open onto the Pyrenees, snow-capped or not depending on the season. Halfway between Toulouse, Albi and the Grand Site Sorèze–Revel–Saint-Ferréol, at the sources of the Canal du Midi, you will enjoy a rich territory and be charmed by the song of blue tits in the early morning, the villages, sunflower fields and numerous hiking trails.

In this beautiful stone farmhouse, Micheline and Pierre have created three gîtes, along with their own residence.

The living area combines a lounge corner (with a futon that can accommodate two additional guests) and a very well-equipped open-plan kitchen.
Next door are the bedroom and the shower room, which includes a WC.

Outside, you will enjoy a large tree-filled garden with around fifteen different species, a private picnic table on the lawn, and a shared swimming pool (10.6 x 3.4 m; depth from 1.30 to 1.50 m), secured with an alarm and safety cover. A shower and WC are available near the pool. The pool is open from June to September; please note that these dates may vary (contact us).

In a small outbuilding of the charming property, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available and shared with the other gîtes on the estate. For added comfort, a fireplace (first firewood provided) and baby equipment are available on request.

Private parking in front of the gîte. Shared in a friendly atmosphere: table tennis, relaxation areas and, on the first evening, a convivial meal encouraging guests to meet. Absolute peace and quiet is guaranteed, with no nearby neighbours and superb 360° views.
