Head towards the outskirts of Roquecourbe in the direction of Lacrouzette, and discover the archaeological excavations at Sainte-Juliane. This was once a major place of worship, destroyed in 1210 during the Albigensian Crusade. The excavations have uncovered terraces, vats and sarcophagi. Together with the ruins of the church, they bear witness to the successive presence of the Celts, Visigoths and various Christian denominations.
