The Industrial Railroad Museum displays a collection of narrow-gauge railroad equipment that the association has been restoring since 1975. In a 1,200-square-meter hall, discover various types of traction systems.
The museum takes you on a journey through the history of industrial railroads—mines, salt marshes, sugar refineries, quarries, factories, brickworks, dynamite plants, and gunpowder factories—and the military railroads of World War I…
It features locomotives and railcars from several European and American manufacturers, seven of which are designated as Historic Monuments.
Educational panels illustrate the history of the Tarn Steam Tramway network.
You can combine your visit to the museum with a train ride.
