We grow a variety of vegetables on 3,500 m² and keep 70 laying hens and 3 roosters in two mobile chicken coops on 4,000 m² of land, which features a grassy pasture dotted with fruit trees.

We practice organic, local farming that relies on soil life (bacteria, insects, and plants) and collaboration with neighboring farms, rather than on machinery and the organic industry (even though we do use machinery and industrial products).

We farm without mechanical tillage. We fertilize with manure from our neighbors—including horse manure (very straw-rich), sheep manure, and a variety of other manures—as well as with manure from our chickens, to a lesser extent. We use liquid manure that we make (nettle, elderberry, comfrey, fern) and are committed to minimizing the use of industrial products for crop care (so far, the only industrial product used on the farm is slug repellent, which we apply at the early stages of certain delicate crops). We use rotted straw from our neighbors to mulch our crops (both young plants and mature crops).
We produce all our seedlings (except potatoes, garlic, and shallots) and some of our seeds (tomatoes, fava beans, garlic, and basil).
