Located in the town of Cuq, 7 km from Lautrec, Sylvain Maraval is the sixth generation of farmers on the farm and is committed to carrying on the work that previous generations have accomplished.
After setting up my farm in 2013, I decided to focus my production on growing grains and field vegetables. Since I’m fortunate enough to be part of the Lautrec Pink Garlic region, I decided to start growing it, proud to produce a crop bearing an officially recognized quality label. Wanting to diversify, I chose to expand my product line by adding onions, shallots, and squash (potimarron, butternut, and Musquée de Provence) to my crop rotation, sweet potatoes (orange- and purple-fleshed), and finally, in 2021, a green asparagus plot. By introducing these market garden crops to the farm, I was committed to taking charge of their marketing, which is why I founded COULEURS D’AUTAN in 2016. We offer our customers high-quality, healthy, and environmentally friendly products that follow the natural cycle of the seasons. By joining the Dephy group, I’ve committed to reducing the use of pesticides on my farm by replacing them with natural alternatives.
