A specialist in chickpea farming for two generations, Jérôme has invested in a mill to offer you, in addition to his crops, processed products such as chickpea flour.
ESCA SARL has been based in the Tarn region, on the outskirts of Toulouse, since 1996. Founded by Louis GUCEMAS, who served as manager of ESCA SARL until 2007, the company specializes in the cultivation and marketing of chickpeas. In 2008, his son Jérôme took over the reins, expanding the product line to include other legumes such as green lentils and lingot beans. Today, ESCA distributes these products locally to specialty retailers (supermarkets, farmers’ markets, and organic stores) as well as to institutions through fruit and vegetable wholesalers.
A flour mill was established to produce gluten-free flours such as chickpea flour and lentil flour. A partnership with a cannery in Revel allows ESCA SARL to market naturally cooked and processed dried vegetables, such as “Houmous du Tarn.”
