Since 1992, between Castres and Mazamet, the Ferme du Verdanel welcomes you from Monday to Friday. It offers fresh and processed products. Fat ducks and poultry are brought up from birth to processing.
The food is produced on site, using only local cereals. The fatty ducks are then force-fed with corn.
The preparations are also made on the farm, respecting traditions and with no preservative or coloring.
The Ourliac family offers you whole year round foie gras, stuffed neck, regional cassoulet, confits, outdoor breeding chickens, guinea fowl, young ducks and rabbits.
Also to be found on Saturday morning at the Mazamet Market, Thursday morning at the Aussillon Market and in summer during the Mazamet Producers Markets on Monday evenings.
