Gabriel Delmas Trio & Gaël Horellou

Le 19 August 2026

Gabriel Delmas, a drummer influenced by jazz, funk, and groove, leads a trio with Florent Hortal and Nicolas Blancot. Joined by prestigious guests such as Gaël Horellou, he presents an energetic, free-spirited, and warm style of jazz, driven by improvisation and collaboration.

Gabriel Delmas, a versatile drummer, moves effortlessly between the worlds of jazz, funk, and groove, drawing on North American influences and the legacy of great improvisational musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, and Steve Gadd.

Since late 2019, he has been showcasing dynamic, groove-driven compositions with his trio, alongside the talented Florent Hortal on guitar (Big Band Brass, Initiative H, Ben L’Oncle Soul) and Nicolas Blancot on keyboards.
Together, they regularly invite big names like Nicolas Folmer, Sylvain Gontard, Stéphane Guillaume, Laurent Coulondre, and, coming soon, Jakob Manz for explosive “groove jam session” nights!
In May 2024, the trio invited Gaël Horellou for a memorable evening at the Jazz Club le Taquin in Toulouse, giving rise to this new project. A saxophonist and composer, Gaël Horellou is a staple of the French jazz scene, collaborating with numerous musicians (Ari Hoenig, Frédéric Nardin, Antoine Paganotti, Viktor Nyberg, Etienne Déconfin, Lionel Belmondo…).
The themes flow freely, risks are embraced, and the energy is always in motion. A warm, free-spirited jazz that’s resolutely focused on the audience.
