This rural town was the main and oldest stronghold of the Lautrec region. In the 14th century, its castle belonged to the family of the Viscounts of Lautrec.
The Saint-Salvy Church in Montlong features a 16th-century Gothic sanctuary, a columned altarpiece, and a statue of Saint Salvy from the same period. Be sure to also visit the old washhouse, which was restored in 2001.
