Remnants of the imposing fortifications and the eight gates that once surrounded the city.
This 13th-century gate is flanked by a square tower and was protected by a drawbridge and a portcullis. It is the only remaining gate out of the eight that existed in the Middle Ages. The village of Lautrec was fortified by a 1,200-meter-long wall, several sections of which can still be seen today.
