Escoussens Castle is a fortified castle located in Escoussens, in the Tarn department (France).
Built beginning in the 12th century by the Dourgne family, vassals of the Trencavel family, it endured the ravages of the Albigensian Crusade before becoming the property of several co-lords under the suzerainty of the Count of Toulouse. Owned by the Carthusian monastery of Saïx from the 15th century until the French Revolution, its austere facades still tower over the small village of Escoussens today.
